Team
Moor Consulting is led by James Ambler, who heads up all projects & client liaison as well as direct management of the visual analytics team.
Nigel Taylor, the company’s technical director, is responsible for identifying and implementing the best methods to obtain and prepare data required for analysis.
James Ambler
Prior to founding Moor Consulting in 2010, James worked in the pharmaceutical & IT sectors. Having a background in quantitative reporting & analysis as well as strong technical skills and experience, he decided to marry the two to focus on the then newly emerging field of data visualisation & visual analytics.
Nigel Taylor
After 15 years of programming, many new technologies have come to the fore giving Nigel a range of skills that are second to none. Coupled with a sound knowledge of business and the problems that need solving there is no better person to have working with you in an age increasingly dependent on Information Technology.
James & Nigel are supported by a team who specialise in various skills & technologies across the spectrum of data analysis, visual analytics, data management and programming – and in addition are able to leverage an extensive network of consultants as projects require.
